Introducing the TZT9F, a new, smaller MFD that packs the power of NavNet TZtouch3 into a 9” display suitable for smaller helms, flybridges, and second stations.  

We will come across the term IPS display more often in technical specifications. This term refers to the display and stands for In-Plane-Switching. The technology behind the IPS display has to do with the alignment of the pixels and the addition of sub-pixels. Simply said, an IPS display provides better color reproduction, higher contrast and wider viewing angles than a standard LCD display. Black should be blacker, colors should be richer and everything should be more visible from different angles, especially on a boat extremely important. An IPS display is an important factor to consider when purchasing new equipment.

The TZT9F has an Quad-Core Processor and more !!!. Lightning fast operating options for easy use. The new TZT9F has an additional Rotokey and Cursurpad in addition to a 9-inch navigation screen with quickly accessible operating buttons for quick page forward. The glass display has 4 split screens and is perfectly readable under all circumstances, in bad weather, but also in direct sunlight.With the RotoKey™, a rough sea will no longer be a challenge.

The TZT9F is particularly interesting for all owners of a NavNet 3D MFD8 device who did not find a suitable successor product in the TZtouch2 series and can now finally carry out a refit with a suitable FURUNO product.

The Fish-It & Drift-It features, available only from Furuno, help you locate the correct spot to start your drift so you'll pass right over your fishing point. Tapping on a location on the chart, such as a pinnacle, wreck, charted artificial reef, or even a hot fishing spot on the Fish Finder or DFF3D Multi-Beam Sonar screen, creates a temporary "fishing go-to point" with dynamic range rings, a course line between the point and the boat, and a temporary track line. Now activate Drift-It, an exciting new feature that automatically creates a starting point for the vessel to drift directly over your Fish-it spot. Select a 3-minute, 5-minute, or even a 20-minute drift, navigate to the starting point, and drift to the Fish-it location in the time selected. This is a game changer for fishermen!

Furuno has a wide range of Radar sensors. The radar itself is the heart of the integrated navigation system for many different sailing areas and demanding sailing plans that you can expand a little further. How nice is that !!!

If you want to connect a radar, you can choose from various digital Radar bars and Domes, now also in SOLID STATE DOPPLER version with 25 kW, but also with 100 and 200 kW power, which is great.

NavNet TZtouch3 contains a powerful internal 1 kW TrueEcho CHIRP ™ Fish-finder, the perfect Fish-finder for many.

Some, however, want even more power that is possible. There is the Deep Impact (DI-FFAMP), a powerful 2/3 kW amplifier / Booster Box that can be connected to the internal TrueEcho CHIRP ™ Fishfinder.

If that's not enough, you can connect a 5 kW or 10 kW transducer to the BT-5 on the Deep Impact amplifier. This 2 kW or 3 kW TruEcho CHIRP ™ Fishfinder amplifier will take you to the deepest waters to find your catch which is fantastic !!!

The TZT9F can also be connected to the DFF3D Multi Beam Sonar. For Fishery a great option.

Normally Fishfinders transmit downwards and have a beam angle of 40˚ or less. With the DFF3D Multi Beam Sonar you will see 20˚ einen 20˚-Backbord and starboard for 200 Meter (650+ ft). In addition, you can see fish 300 meters below the boat (nearly 1,000 feet). When combined with the Deep Impact TrueEcho CHIRP ™, you have the best fishing opportunity available!

The DFF3D Multi Beam Sonar works perfectly at 165 kHz for fishing, allowing you to see depth penetration while still displaying high-resolution echoes. Compared to an ultra-wide 40˚ transducer, you see three times the area around your boat, so you can find those fish you might have otherwise missed. In addition, you can see which side of the boat they are on!
