The Tron 60GPS is a Category 1 EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon) that comes with a float-free bracket. Its portable dimension is modest and compact, and it is equipped with a bright LED at the top of the antenna, giving this EPIRB the best visibility possible.

A Category 1 EPIRB is an automatic float-free bracket. It is designed to release an EPIRB when the Hydrostatic Release Unit (HRU) in the bracket is submerged in water to a depth of 4 to 14 feet (1.5 – 4 meters).

This compact and tamper-proof GMDSS EPIRB is integrated with GPS, which ensures accurate positioning.

It is also compatible with MEOSAR ((Medium Earth Orbiting Search and Rescue).
