TZ Professional allows you to control the position of your trawl doors.

The new Trawl Positioning Module for TZ Professional lets you see the location and movement of your trawl doors right in the software. TIMEZERO can incorporate data from MARPORT sensors to display your fishing gear in real time. Furthermore, unique tools and workspaces have been created to allow you to assess your navigation areas from various perspectives.

MARPORT is a world leader in commercial fishing net positioning sensors. MARPORT was developed in Iceland in 1996 with the purpose of creating acoustic monitoring devices for deep-sea commercial fishing fleets. Its engineering team now makes a wide range of subsea sensor devices.

TZ Professional is now compatible with MARPORT trawl location sensors.

With TZ Professional, you can see the exact location of your trawl doors. In confined places, maneuver your equipment more safely. All while maintaining the doors a safe distance from obstacles or canyon walls when following markings across tough terrain.

Display and visualize the trawl doors in real time and from all angles

• Navigation Display: The Trawl Positioning Module displays information such as the distance between the selected door and your boat, the depth, and the distance between your boat and the bottom in a simple to follow manner. The door color coding (red for port and green for starboard) lets you to immediately identify your trawl doors on your navigation charts.

• 3D cube: TIMEZERO also allows you to see your trawl in 3D using the specialized 3D Cube workspace. The vertical distance between your trawl and the bottom is taken into consideration.You can observe the surroundings around your trawl as well as the precise position of your fishing net. This alerts you immediately if your net is getting near a shipwreck, a rock, or the seafloor. This is great security for your fishing gear.

• Record and Replay: The new Logbook database allows you to automatically record the location of your trawl doors in the software. In the Planning workspace of TZ Professional, you can now replay prior positions of your boat and trawl. This one-of-a-kind feature was created to assist you in visualizing the location of your net in relation to the position of your boat throughout your voyage.

• Movements Calculation: TIMEZERO can display COG and SOG vectors of your trawl doors, letting you to see how your net moves as you move. A red trace (port) and a green trace (starboard) illustrate the movement of your trawl doors. The display shows you where and how your fishing equipment is moving.

• Sounder pairing: TZ Professional, when combined with a compatible multi-beam sounder (WASSP G3 or FURUNO DFF3D), will physically show the fish entering the trawl. The Trawl Positioning Module has a unique 2D/3D Fish Targets display.
