P79 Transducer 7-pin Lowrance Depth

The P79S brings smart depth sensing to your boat with Airmar’s advanced Smart™ Sensor technology. This all-in-one, in-hull transducer features integrated microelectronics, allowing the depth signal to be processed right inside the sensor just millimeters from the ceramic element. The result is accurate, real-time depth data delivered directly to your onboard network via a single cable. Compatible with NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000®, it supports seamless integration with multiple displays. Installation is simple and clean: the included plastic mounting base is aligned to the centerline and secured inside the hull, then filled with non-toxic antifreeze to create an ideal acoustic medium. The transducer is inserted and angled to match the hull’s deadrise, up to 22° ensuring the beam is directed straight down for optimal echo returns. With no external hull protrusions, the P79S is perfect for trailered or dry-stored boats. It’s specifically designed for smaller vessels up to 8 meters (25 feet) with solid fiberglass hulls.
