Airmar’s D800 and DT800 Smart™ Sensors can be displayed on any radar, chart plotter, or device that accepts NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000® data. 235kHz and displays waterdepth and temperatur Read more..
The Airmar DT800 SMART Echosounder depth sensor is a low-profile through the hull-mounted, retractable, sensor that calculates accurate depth and temperature data and transmits via NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000 to your device/display and operates at 235kHz. This SMART sensor can be placed with other Airmar 50/200 kHz transducers without disturbing each other.
The broadband ceramic provides depth readings up to 183 m (600 '), as well as very accurate shallow water measurements in just 50 cm (1.6'). The DT800 is available in a fixed 0 °, 12 ° or 20 ° tilt and is perfect for power and sailboat applications.
The DT800 for FURUNO echosounders is sold with a robust plastic housing, however, it is also available in other materials. Do you need more info please ask us by mail for more information: [email protected]. This low-profile housing does not affect the performance of the ship's hull and offers accurate measurements at high speeds.
The Airmar Smart™ sensor has embedded microelectronics - the transducer element and signal processor are only millimeters apart. The signal from the depth transducer is processed in the sensor itself. Only one single cable is required to receive the depth and temperature data on your device / display. Because the ceramic is tilted in the housing, the transducer beam is oriented straight down, resulting in strong echo reflections and accurate depth measurements. The retractable housing with a self-closing valve reduces water flow in the vessel when the transducer is removed for cleaning.
The transducer set comes with installation instructions that must be carefully followed to prevent damage to your boat.
