This Furuno MFD with TimeZero quad-core processing technology ensures that using your TZT16F is smooth and seamless. Scroll, pan and zoom effortlessly to stay on track. Navigate in a 3D environment with realistic perspectives and a good view of the area around you, perfect for planning and navigation. An internal library for MapMedia Vector and Raster maps allows you to choose those maps that suit your individual needs. An enhanced card experience like no other on the market, the Furuno TZT16F offers Satellite PhotoFusion technology. A satellite image is merged with map data to give you more details about seabed areas in shallow water without losing essential map information. For an even more detailed navigation experience, depth shading is added to both 2D and 3D vector and raster maps. Transparency levels can be adjusted at any time so that map data is visible below the hue on the map. View water depths at a glance with vibrant colors that you can change yourself. If more detail is required, C-MAP and Datacore by Navionics are vector cartography maps that can be unlocked with the purchase of an unlock code. Flawless integration of advanced algorithms and high-resolution image processing provides an unsurpassed navigation experience.

We will come across the term IPS display more often in technical specifications. This term refers to the display and stands for In-Plane-Switching. The technology behind the IPS display has to do with the alignment of the pixels and the addition of sub-pixels. Simply said, an IPS display provides better color reproduction, higher contrast and wider viewing angles than a standard LCD display. Black should be blacker, colors should be richer and everything should be more visible from different angles, especially on a boat extremely important. An IPS display is an important factor to consider when purchasing new equipment. 

Each Furuno TZT16F IPS MFD is built with a TZ Cloud and TZ First Mate app connectivity so you can stay on the water, never lose waypoints, routes or settings.

With the TZ Cloud you create routes at home with the PC TZ Navigator or via the TZ iBoat iOS app on your smartphone or tablet. Retrieve them from the cloud and download them to your TZTouch3 MFD, or automatically transfer the synchronized data securely from your TZT16F to your My TimeZero account. The TZ Cloud can also store routes, boundaries, photos and catch data (important for fishing).

Furuno has a wide range of Radar sensors. The radar itself is the heart of the integrated navigation system for many different sailing areas and demanding sailing plans that you can expand a little further. How nice is that !!!

If you want to connect a radar, you can choose from various digital Radar bars and Domes, now also in SOLID STATE DOPPLER version with 25 kW, but also with 100 and 200 kW power, which is great.!!!

For those who love to fish, the NavNet TZtouch3 offers a powerful internal 1 kW TrueEcho CHIRP ™ fish finder, the perfect fish finder for many. This internal 1 kW TruEcho CHIRP ™ fish finder in NavNet TZtouch3 works over a wide frequency range with a broadband converter (optional see here) and offers considerable advantages, particularly with regard to signal clarity and target definition. By adjusting the frequencies, it can collect more and better quality data than traditional fish finders.especially in terms of signal clarity and target definition. Normally Fishfinders transmit downwards and have a beam angle of 40˚ or less. With the DFF3D Multi Beam Sonar you will see 20˚ einen 20˚-Backbord and for 200 Meter starboard  (650+ ft). In addition, you can see fish 300 meters below the boat (nearly 1,000 feet). When combined with the Deep Impact TrueEcho CHIRP ™, you have the best fishing opportunity available!

The DFF3D Multi Beam Sonar works perfectly at 165 kHz for fishing, allowing you to see depth penetration while still displaying high-resolution echoes. Compared to an ultra-wide 40˚ transducer, you see three times the area around your boat, so you can find those fish you might have otherwise missed. In addition, you can see which side of the boat they are on!
