The P79S delivers precise depth intelligence to your boat with the power of Airmar’s Smart™ Sensor technology. Compact and efficient, it processes depth data internally right inside the sensor thanks to integrated microelectronics located just millimeters from the ceramic transducer. With a simple plug-and-play design, it transmits data directly to your onboard network via NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000®, ready for use across multiple displays.
Designed for solid-fiberglass hulls up to 8 meters (25 feet), the P79S includes a plastic mounting base that aligns with the vessel’s centerline and is secured inside the hull. Filled with eco-friendly antifreeze, it ensures optimal acoustic transmission through the hull and into the water. The transducer is easily adjusted for the vessel’s deadrise angle, guaranteeing a direct downward beam for accurate readings.
Best of all, the in-hull installation means there are no protrusions below the hull, ideal for trailered or lifted boats.
