Product description

Bronze Triducer B744VL 50/200kHz

The B744VL is a powerful TRIDUCER® multisensor that combines depth, speed, and temperature readings in a single, efficient unit, requiring just one hole in your hull. Featuring a dual-frequency (50/200 kHz) ceramic element, it delivers sharp target detail in shallow water at 200 kHz and reliable bottom tracking in deeper waters at 50 kHz.

Designed with an extended stem-length, the B744VL is ideal for vessels with steep-deadrise angles or thick, cored-fiberglass and wood hulls. Paired with the included high-performance fairing, it ensures accurate readings at speeds up to 30 knots (34 MPH).

FEATURES

  • Depth, speed, and fast-response water-temperature sensing in one housing
  • 600 W of power
  • Dual-frequency element:
    • 50 kHz with a wide 45° beamwidth for depth performance to 353 m (1200')
    • 200 kHz with a 12° beamwidth for depth performance to 206 m (700')
  • Extra-long stem for thick or steep-deadrise hull
  • Bronze housing with a High-performance Fairing for optimal bottom tracking at higher speeds
  • Self-closing water valve reduces water flow into the hull when paddlewheel insert is being replaced with the blanking plug
  • Fins on sides of paddlewheel cavity provide improved accuracy in cross flow conditions
  • Also available with a shorter stem (B744V)
